Alexis Polux Command Squad

Captain of the 405th Company of the Imperial Fists Legion, Alexis Polux ‘The Crimson Fist’ was a warrior of unique promise both elevated to greatness and condemned to bear great sorrow by the events of the Horus Heresy. A tactical genius with a talent for void warfare, he was the protégée of the Legion’s greatest fleet masters, although before the dark betrayal of the Warmaster yet to reach his full potential. Inwit born, he was a physical giant even among his brothers of the Legion, and of a character as if cast in stone, emotionless and unyielding, whose reputation before the Battle of Phall rested as much on his strength in the bloody melee of close quarters combat as in command.+++++

Starting new army of Imperial Fists for 30k this month. Plans are to buy some Breachers and Phalanx Warders, Land Raiders, Medusas and maybe some super heavy tank?

For the start I have Alexis, Command Rhino and this Command Squad, unpainted. Planning on to visit Forge World store next weekend 😀 Watch the space coz Command Squad is going on the table to be painted right now!

Imerial Fists Land Raider Redeemer

Land Raider Redeemer WIP

Oh dear, I wish I could be so fast with my own minis!

Starting my Land Raider Redeemer for my small elite force of Imperial Fists for 40k. This behemoth got to be top notch and standing out so probably will have loads of different layers of yellow colour, even more layers of battle damage and weathering including mud, dust, bloody gore and some personalized war trophy marks by the doors. I am not a fan of enormous and elaborate freehands that pretend to be some kind of artisan painting. No place for such infantilism in 40k universe!

Archamus, “The Last of the First”

Archamus could feel himself calling out orders, slicing the crisis up into portions, ringing each with the logic and experience of sixteen decades, reducing disaster to grains of action.

Genesis of the Imperial Fists rituals. Why the fist is black?

Did you ever wonder why the fist is black?

One might be surprised with description down below. The pinnacle of human civilisation, the most trusted soldiers of Emperor practice such barbaric custom? Yes. Imperial Fists burn their clenched fists in fire, scorch them to the black burned piece of meat and then wait for it to regenerate while making an oath of loyalty to the Primarch.   Continue reading

A Brotherhood United

In the millennia since the Horus Heresy, dozens of Space Marine Chapters have been founded from the gene-seed of the imperial Fists, perhaps more than from any other Legion other than Ultramarines. Many of these Successor Chapters – the Crimson Fists, the Black Templars, the Executioners, the Hammers of Dorn and the Iron Knights foremost amongst them – have long and illustrious histories that are steeped in nearly as much glory and honour as the Imperial Fists themselves. Even those successors who were founded relatively recently – such as the Iron Fists, the Invaders and the Hammers of Dorn –  have already amasses a wealth of battle-honours to rival those of the most ancient Chapters, proudly upholding the legacy of their revered Primarch. Together the manifold ranks of the sons of Rogal Dorn have been instrumental in holding together the Imperium through the very bleakest of times. Continue reading
